Acupuncturist's without borders

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, as they did post 9/11, Acupuncturists are gathering to support the victims and do what they can. They know they can't provide the same care as medical docs, but the AAOM is promoting a free detox protocol to victims to help their body's Qi regain balance after the traumatic experience.

I would like to call on all Acupuncturists to give donations to Acupuncturists Without Borders (AWB). This organizations represents us to the world. If we can pour our money into this organization, we could go to other countries and do bigger projects, get noticed more. We need to rally around AWB and volunteer some of our time, it would benefit us all.

Acupunturists without borders is not AWB, as they call themselves. AWB is AcupunctURE Without Borders or ASF. Acupuncture Sans Frontiers in french. Not AcupuncturISTS without borders.

The US organization stole the name of the true AWB organization in Europe after never recieving premission to use it. AWB/ ASF operates in Switzerland, France, Italy and now in Canada. AWB/ASF has a 15 year long history and has worked in many countries.

The US Acupuncturists without borders, is not part of AWB/ASF international. It used to say so on their website, but recently they have conviently removed it. AWB/ASF does international humanitrian aid missions using acupuncture and training acupuncturists in the recieving country to treat there own people. Thereby teaching them to look after themselves. The US group, only uses NADA and is not even remotely the same organization.

Acupuncturists without borders does not represent acupuncture through-out the world. They use NADA, if you can call that acupuncture. AWB/ASF international is a much bigger, well rounded, multi-country involved organization with long term goals.

A US organization once again trys to steal something and pass it off as there own. If you are looking for something closer, I have heard from some friends the AWB Canada website will be up soon. www.awbcanada.com This is the real AWB/ASF, not related to the US organization. Should be finished in the next week or two.
